Don't "sell" yourself to people. You don't have to. Chances are, sooner or later, they'll find out enough about you to make up their own minds. You don't have to be a salesman. Just "be" yourself. It's amazing in a town known for fake scenery & well, other things, that the one golden rule that has always held true is: be honest. Not just with others, but with yourself too. Once you do that, you know where you stand..and you'll also know where your real friends stand. It doesn't have to be a dog-eat-dog business. Remember, there's a part for everyone.
